Record-breaking movie directors The Russo Brothers recently sat down with the Los Angeles Times to talk about Avengers: Endgame and confirmed that Tom Hiddleston's Loki may still be alive and possibly in another universe.
"Avengers: Endgame" crushed the competition at the box office once again last week in padding its almost $2.2 billion take, not only handily winning the period but blowing past "Titanic" to become the world's second highest-grossing film of all time - with the throne set in its sights. And with this milestone unlocked, the superhero flick has left a few iconic films behind in the race to become one of the top grossers.
Avengers: Endgame is the culmination of a decade-plus of Marvel films. He had said in April 2018, "Not that I don't love the movies".
Well, this obviously did not go down well with fans who are now rooting for Avengers: Endgame to dethrone Avatar. The Endgame is expected to overtake the global gross collection of Titanic, $2.188 billion (including 2012's 3-D re-release) today, May 5. Repeat viewings from comic-book enthusiasts, as well as premium formats like Imax and 3D have helped box office receipts reach extraordinary heights. So far, the three-hour runtime doesn't seem to be stopping anyone from seeing it again.
