The Suns initially acquired Westphal, along with two second-round picks, from the Celtics on May 23, 1975 in exchange for Charlie Scott, who was enshrined into the Basketball Hall of Fame a year ago. He was selected by the Milwaukee Bucks with the No.5 overall pick in the 1979 NBA Draft and played 10 of 11 years of his career there.
They include Al Attles from the Contributor Committee, Charles "Chuck" Cooper from the Early African American Pioneers Committee, Vlade Divac from the International Committee, Carl Braun from the Veterans Committee and the Wayland Baptist Flying Queens of 1948-1982 from the newly instated Women's Veterans Committee.
Moncrief was a five-time All-Star and two-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year in the mid-1980s for the Bucks, who lost in the Eastern Conference finals three times during his career. He spent 10 of his 11 seasons in Milwaukee. A four-time NBA All-Star, Jones was led North Carolina to an NCAA Final Four.
Cooper, who died in 1984 at the age of 57, also played a season for the Harlem Globetrotters-like Harlem Magicians in 1956 before leaving basketball for good.
Moncrief was a two-time NBA Defensive Player of the Year and, in recent years, many have lamented his lack of inclusion in the Basketball Hall of Fame.
The induction ceremony will take place September 6th at the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts.
He has been part of the Warriors organization in some capacity for 60 years and coached the team to the 1975 National Basketball Association championship.
Cooper and Braun are recognized posthumously.

The 6-4 Westphal, who averaged 15.6 ppg in 12 seasons, later won 318 games as an NBA coach, leading the Suns to the NBA Finals in 1993. Usually, the closer to the end of a player's career the better their chances are to make the Hall of Fame, as their play is still fresh in people's minds.
Attles was drafted by the Philadelphia Warriors in the fifth round of the 1960 NBA Draft and has been part of the franchise as a player, coach, general manager and ambassador.
Jones is an eight-time NBA All-Defensive First Team member and NBA champion. He was an NBA All-Star in 2001 and was named to the FIBA Hall of Fame in 2010.
After he was officially selected, Jones told NBATV what he remembered about that 1983 Sixers team.
