Love Island winners Kem Cetinay and Amber Davies are among a number of reality stars to have paid tribute to Mike Thalassitis, who has died aged 26.

Mike, shot to fame in 2017 on the smash-hit ITV2 reality show. His most successful spell during his sporting career came during the 2012/13 season, when he scored seven goals in 19 appearances for Boreham Wood.

Following news of Thalassitis' death, several British reality stars mourned his passing on social media.

Thalassitis was born in Edmonton in London and played football for clubs including St Albans and Chelmsford.

Fellow islander Chris Hughes demanded on Twitter that people not refer to Thalassitis as "Muggy Mike".
