Last week, the United States, the United Kingdom and France moved a fresh proposal in the UN Security Council to designate Azhar as a global terrorist, a listing that will subject him to global travel ban, asset freeze and arms embargo.
"We won't let anyone use Pakistani soil against anyone so that no force can intervene in Pakistan's domestic issues".
According to sources, the government is also considering to take Masood Azhar into preventive custody, however a final decision in this regard will be taken by Prime Minister Imran Khan. Those arrested include the brother and son of Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) leader Masood Azhar.
India will keep "all options" open in case of another terrorist attack, said one person familiar with the developments-a possible allusion to New Delhi not limiting itself to striking terrorist training camps across the Line of Control.

"We have launched a crackdown against proscribed organisations and have taken 44 individuals into custody, including Mufti Abdul Rauf and Hammad Azhar", Afridi told reporters.
Under the UNSC sanctions, designated entities are banned from travel outside the country, face an assets freeze and can't access weapons.
