KXIP vs KKR Live Score

Inspired by Jean Bugatti's iconic Type 57 SC Atlantic, the one-off hypercar features some significant changes over the standard Chiron structure. The material has been handled perfectly, says Bugatti designer Etienne Salome, adding that the design was worked upon until nothing could be improved.

The new auto has the same almost 1,500 horsepower 16-cylinder engine as the $3 million Bugatti Chiron on which it is based.

It's not news that Bugatti makes expensive, fast, and powerful cars. The cost of the development and manufacture of much of Chiron's mechanicals and equipment will be paid for across the life of the auto, as will their expensive "type-approval" whereby their safety and legality for road use is certified worldwide.

It's finally here - meet the one of one Bugatti La Voiture Noire.

Its 1103kW and 1600Nm W16 engine is, Bugatti says, part of the reason it decided on six tailpipes for the rear. I believe that if you or I, some Poors, gazed inside La Voiture Noire our bodies would turn into jewel-encrusted statues with our mortal souls trapped inside, forever. Twenty have been manufactured, and they've all sold for a net price of €3 million ($3.4 million).

"The new edition of the Chiron is not only extremely exclusive but also a honest tribute to France, says Winkelmann".

New vertically stacked headlamps provide a fresh take on the Bugatti face, while the side profile has a strong wedge with a fighter canopy effect windowline not dissimilar to the glasshouse on a Nissan GT-R.

"This is not only an engine but the heart of the vehicle and a technical masterpiece", said Winkelmann.

Molsheim was and still is a key element in Bugatti's brand history. It is built to pay tribute to France and in celebration of Bugatti's 110th Anniversary. The Type 57 SC Atlantic is seen as the most famous work of Jean Bugatti, the son of the company's founder, Ettore Bugatti.

"This will be an exciting and thrilling year for us".
