Fossil also says the Sport is its lightest smartwatch to date. Beyond color choices, the Fossil Sport seems to offer a good amount of functionality, thanks at least in part to the Snapdragon Wear 3100 platform at the heart of the device. Available in six colorways with two case sizes - 41mm and 43mm, it's compatible with a wide range of strap options - both 18mm and 22mm sizes - and packs a 350mAh battery that delivers "24+ hours battery life (based on usage) + 2 additional days in battery saver watch mode" as well as 4GB of onboard storage. The Fossil Sport is available from the brand's online store, at a price of US$255.

It's based on the recently launched Qualcomm Snapdragon Wear 3100 platform and the newly redesigned Wear OS by Google, which boasts extended battery life, a new battery saving mode, enhanced ambient mode, integrated heart rate, NFC, and Global Positioning System capabilities.
