KXIP vs KKR Live Score

Kicking things up a notch, Samsung's new Galaxy A9 is the first smartphone in the world to launch with four rear cameras, underscoring the emphasis on taking photos above all else.

Samsung offers numerous smartphones within its portfolio, ranging from the top-specced Galaxy Note series and S Series to the mid-range A series and budget J series.

I won't deny that the Samsung Galaxy A9 is a nice looking phone. The UK price is set at £549 for the solitary 128GB model, but how much USA customers will have to pay is still to be revealed. As a calculated guess-timate, the Galaxy A9 could cost somewhere between S$949-S$999 locally and that is fairly expensive for a mid-range, albeit a high-tech, phone. The glass on the back curves around the edges and into the metal frame, giving it a Galaxy S9 like comfortable and premium feel.

Here to claim its place next to (or maybe above?) the P20 Pro in smartphone history comes the Samsung Galaxy A9, with not one, not two, not three, but four rear-facing cameras.

Samsung will make the Galaxy A9 available in three colours; Caviar Black, Lemonade Blue and Bubblegum Pink.

The 3,800mAh battery charges over USB-C and Samsung continues to retain the 3.5mm headphone jack.

Before we get onto the cameras there a few other details worth mentioning. Below the hood, the A9 is powered by an Exynos chipset featuring octa-core processors (2.2GHz quad + 1.8GHz quad) and clubbed with up to 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage.

Samsung and SK Hynix to slow down memory production - 09/07/2018 09:48 AMJust when you think you are out they pull you right back in. Samsung says this camera can capture 120-degrees worth of content in a single frame, which is a total of 77-degrees more than Samsung's previous wide-angle sensors. This is to "soak in the light and create brighter images".

Want to tell people that you took that super-fly picture of you using the world's first quad camera smartphone? More lenses doesn't automatically mean better experience though.

In an interview with CNBC, Samsung Mobile CEO Koh Dong-Jin said that "In the past, I brought the new technology and differentiation to the flagship model and then moved to the mid-end".

The second camera is a 10-megapixel, f/2,4 telephoto lens that's almost identical to the secondary camera on the Galaxy Note 9.

This new photography feature includes a main 24-megapixel camera and a secondary 5-megapixel lens for depth effects.
